Colored metal roofs can come with a sheen....and a caveat. Any shiny finish highlights a metal roof's imperfections whereas acrylic (with its matted finish) tends to mute irregularities.Some vintage tin roofs have been well maintained, therefore owners can consider a coating with a sheen.
